Here at The Laundress in New York we are doing our best, both personally and professionally, for those affected by the storm. In addition to donating warm clothes, food, and assistance—we also wanted to share our “expert” advice on how to best care for storm affected items.
Receiving numerous calls from those eagerly anticipating their return home to damages, with questions varying from “are you a laundry mat?” to “what’s the best way to begin clean up” and “how to deal with what was in flooded storage?”
We hope this is a helpful list for now and we will continue to add and share what we can. Our hearts and our laundry room are open to all. Please note our Laundry Service is here to take on whatever you cannot—whether it be to time, lack of space, or fear.
